The results i have collected for the ratio of english to american films are 50:50. the films are 4 lions, inception, oceans12, italian job, inbeetweeners, harry potter 6. i think that the reason is because us films are known well throughout england and they might be shown on british television.
the pros and cons of watching films at the cinema are that in cinema, you can see it first and before lots of people or your freinds do. the cons however are that you have to pay for it and the adverts are annoying.
the diffrent methods of marketing are tv ads, which probably attract the biggest audiece. another one is posters and billboards which are cheap to put up and are seen by passers by, which also attracs a large audience.

i have chosen to study media because i wish to learn about how films and tv series' are made
